Ca’Momi Osteria- Napa Valley

With so many delicious restaurants in Napa Valley, narrowing down all the places you want to eat in a 48 hour period is a very hard thing to accomplish. So what does a girl do? Scour instagram for the best food and cocktail photos located in Napa Valley of course! 🙂  That’s how I came across Ca’Momi. I was drooling over the pizza and cocktail photos, but I had no idea it was going to be even better in real life!

If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine while in Napa I highly recommend this place! Not only is the food delicious but the service was excellent and well…wine. 🙂

The Style Lynn Life Travels: Paris, France

No better Tuesday than when it’s your Friday! I am so excited to get out of town with the hubby for a few days to celebrate our wedding anniversary!

I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this week of love on the blog than recapping our trip to the City of Love.

Brandon is not very big into going to any place twice, but I LOVED Paris so much he promised we’d be back 🙂 Holding you to that hun!

The Style Lynn Life Travels: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Okay, literally cracking up over here because I am remembering all the fun we had in Amsterdam. Like almost getting ran over by a bike multiple times (you better get outta their way when you see them coming!), exiting the train station to get in a taxi and after the taxi driver tells us “oh no your hotel is only 3 minutes from here, you can easily walk”…30 minutes later we finally found our hotel!! It was literally 3 minutes away, but we kept getting wrong directions from people we asked LOL or maybe it was the plethora of what Texans would called “illegal smoke” that was surrounding our air flow!

And before you ask, no I did not partake in that while we were there! 🙂 However, read on and I’ll tell you what we did do! 🙂

The Style Lynn Life Travels: Brussels, Belgium

Happy Wednesday!

I am so excited that I am finally picking back up on this travel series! I only took a one month break LOL. Okay, so I know in my last travel post here I said Scotland came in close second to Paris, but….going through these photos made me remember how much I loved Brussels! It was such a BEAUTIFUL place! It was almost like being in mini Paris except it was half the walking.

How We Got There:

From Scotland, we flew to London for a quick one day trip. We actually just stopped there because it was a Holy Day for us and that was the closest church we could get to. As soon as we landed in London, we checked into our hotel, had a late dinner and literally went to bed. The next morning (so early) we headed to Tonbridge for church. That didn’t give us much time in London this trip but we have been to London before so I promise to put together a London itinerary soon!

Anywho, so we flew from Scotland to London and then took a train to Brussels. Are you still with me? LOL

Gift Guide For The Traveler

So….if you are wanting to buy me something, I need 3, 7, 8, and 9. 🙂

Omg, how cute is all of this jewelry?! I totally need all of it! The problem with sharing these gift guides is if I don’t already have it, I now want it!

  1. Headphones– the ultimate must have on a plane
  2. Passport Holder (here and here)- cute ones at that!
  3. Luggage Tags (here and here)– because Brandon needs all of our suitcases to match and I need to somehow differentiate mine!
  4. Luggage Scale– AKA lifesaver/”how much do I need to stuff in my carry on?”
  5. Kai Travel Soaps and Lotions– because hotel soaps are just not going to cut it
  6. Alex & Ani Compass Bracelet– I purchased one on an anniversary trip and love it!
  7. World Map Earrings– Babe, under $10. Hook a girl up!
  8. World Map Watch– checking the time and getting all the travel feels
  9. Wanderlust Cuff– DYING over how cute it is!!
  10. A Mint Macaroon Wall Décor– I also have this cute mug. The traveler in your life will love it!
  11. Luckies of London Scratch off Map & Journal– I’ve talked about these items before here. The hubby loves his maps. I also talked about one here that is a favorite of ours. We have it hanging in our stairway landing. Seriously Brandon had the push pins inserted from our last Europe adventure before I even unpacked! So it’s safe to say he loves it!

The Style Lynn Life Travels: Edinburgh, Scotland Itinerary

Okay, so Paris may have been my most favorite part of the trip, but Scotland comes in at a close second! It was SO beautiful you guys! These photos do not do it justice. You are just going to have to go see it with your own eyes 🙂

It was even better than I imagined it would be. The greenery, the castles, the people playing bagpipes on the street, the cobblestone roads… Also, Brandon’s favorite movie of all time is Braveheart and some scenes were filmed in the Edinburgh Castle so I think this may have been his favorite stop of the trip!

The Style Lynn Life Travels: Belfast, Northern Ireland Itinerary

Happy day after election day friends!

Whether you are celebrating a victory and want to plan a vacation from all the anxiety you have been feeling the past couple of weeks or are wanting to fly across the country and stay forever this Wednesday post is for you 🙂  If you didn’t catch last week’s travel post you can still catch our Ireland Itinerary here.

In other world news, raise your hand if you knew Northern Ireland is part of the UK while Ireland has been a fully independent country since 1922? (insert emoji *not raising her hand here) When Brandon and I were going over our itinerary and he told me we were going to Ireland and then stopping in Northern Ireland I was like “why don’t you just say we are going to Ireland?” After a brief history lesson I know understand why LOL. Also, there is literally a wall, the Peace Wall, that separates the two countries.

The Style Lynn Life Travels: Dublin, Ireland Itinerary

Hi guys!

I’m so excited to be sharing some of our recent travels with you all! Truth is we got back just last week and I’m already asking the hubby “where was that place that we had that thing?” Haha! I have the worse memory! But I went through the pictures and they definitely brought all the memories back and they also made me realize it kind of looked like we were on a beer drinking tour! 🙂 You can’t help but want to drink all the local beers and live like the Irish when in Ireland, right?!
