Am I Becoming My Mother?

Happy Monday love bugs!

So let me start this post by saying I really don’t mind if I am becoming my mother because she is quite the amazing woman I hope I would be some day however she did have some funny beliefs growing up and even though deep down inside I’m like “that’s not true” now that we have baby Weaver I’ve totally caught myself abiding by these crazy rules! LOL

Oh and P.S. I updated my Cyber Week blog post to include some more great sales that I’m totally taking advantage of and also good news is that this pretty blue dress $20! No code needed, twenty bucks all day, errday!

Okay, so you guys are probably going to crack up at this OR please tell me if your Mom told you stuff like this growing up.

Yesterday evening sweet baby had the hiccups. Brandon was like “poor thing” and I was like “it’s fine just tear off a piece of paper and stick it to his forehead”. After realizing the husband was staring at me like I was a crazy person I started laughing hysterically because I realized what I just said and it totally just came out! You guys…this is what my Mom used to tell me to do when I was babysitting my older nephew Manny. I can’t tell you if I remember it actually working on him or not but I can tell you that Baby Weaver didn’t have the hiccups for long last night. I’m just saying… 🙂

Also, my parents used to tell us that if went to bed with our hair wet we would wake up blind. Guess who doesn’t go to bed with their hair wet… Baby Weaver. 🙂 LOL I’m literally laughing at myself right now because I know it’s crazy but maybe my Mom thought it was crazy once too but she had kids and was like “I’m not taking any chances” LOL

Same Mom. Same.

A few months ago I actually wrote about 6 things my parents (and brothers) told me growing up. You may want to check this post out to continue your Monday giggles in between Cyber Monday shopping!
